Abstract
Purpose: To evaluate the characteristic findings of tubular carcinoma of the breast on mammography, sonography and ACR BI-RAD final assessment.

Materials and Methods: Fourteen patients aged 33-59 (mean, 45) years were surgically removed due to tubular carcinomas. Mammography in 10 and sonography in 13 were retrospectively analyzed radiological findings and final assessment.

Results: Abnormal findings on mammography except dense breast in two were masses in five, mass with calcifications in two and asymmetrical increased density in one. The margin of masses showed spiculated in five, ill-defined in one and circumscribed margin in one. The final assessment on mammography was two in C1 (normal), 7 in C4(suspicious malignancy) and one in C5 (highly suggestive of malignancy). Breast lesions in two cases with dense breast. On sonography, the echopattern of the detected all 13 masses was hypoechoic in 12 and hyperechoic mass in one due to internal calcifications. Eleven appeared ill-defined and spiculated margins and two circumscribed margins. The final assessment of sonography was eight in C4 and five in C5.

Conclusion: Mostly, tubular carcinomas of the breast can be detected as irregular marginated low echoic nodules on radiographic examinations and assessed as C4 or C5.
